Martine Rose’s Spring Summer 2020 collection was hosted on astroturf at the top of a corporate building in the City of London where she would present one of her weirdest collections to date. It was a defiant and angry response to the political climate in England at the time, with Brexit ongoing and public trust at an all time low.

Martine herself was seen wearing a ‘Promosing Britain’ T-shirt with a cartoon of a clown surrounded by European Union flag stars. When explaining her collection she said “They are clowns, politicians and I chose to come here to this venue as a comment on business leaving Britain”.
